I'm running Gentoo, OOo 2.2.1 using gstreamer(no JMF). WAV and MP3 files
that I have tested by inserting in a slide or applying to a slide
transition play fine, continuous play over multiple slidea is missing.
Applying a WAV or MP3 to a custom animation will not play at all(even
the Play test button).

I haven't installed OOo dev2.3, but reading the recent release notes,
the fix does not appear to have been included as yet
