I have put together a document with a few hyperlinks for the purposes of
emailing. The document is complete with pictures/images and two
hyperlinks for email and website links. I tried various ways to paste
the document into the email, including in the menu: "send document to
Word processors are normally not the best programs for producing HTML
emails. I know that Microsoft has decided to go that way, and perhaps that
is what you are used to.
As someone who used to produce highly formatted HTML email newsletters, I
can strongly recommend that you consider Thunderbird

It is an excellent free and open source email program, and has excellent
HTML capabilities when composing emails. It was my program of choice when
producing the newsletters, although at one time I did try MS Word, and
managed to get similar results.
