You don't need to uninstall first. Just make sure the Quickstarter is not running - System Tray, grey icon with 2 flying birds; *right* click it and choose Exit. I assume you are on Windows. This message is usually caused by your Antivirus (AV) software. Do as follows: 1. Disconnect your computer completely from the internet 2. Disable your AV and firewall software. 3 Run the install 4. Enable your AV and firewall software 5. Connect to the net. Never let your system be connected to the net if your AV and firewall are not both running properly. If this doesn't help, tell us and we'll have another think. Sergio
