You could try searching the archives first in case your question has
already been answered, but you won't be shouted at too loudly for asking
a FAQ ;-)
Just explain your problem as clearly and briefly as you can. Put
something sensible in the "Subject" of the e-mail.
Make sure you say which version of OO you are using and which flavour
(Windows, Linux, ...) and version (XP, Ubuntu, ...) of Operating System.
Don't attach files as these are usually stripped by the mail list
software. If you need to show us examples, upload them to your own web
site if you have one, or to somewhere like www.mytempdir.com if you
don't. In any case, give us complete access details (mytempdir gives a
reference number for each file you upload, for example). Make the
examples as small as you can.
If you are getting error messages, spell them out in full.
The less we have to guess at the more likely we are to be able to help you.
Support from this list is free; we are all volunteers working in our
spare time.
