Usually the binary for OOo Writer is oowriter. In Ubuntu Feisty and SuSE 10.2 this is /usr/bin/oowriter. In earlier versions, most probably, it was swriter too. So, if /usr/bin is in your path 'oowriter <filename>', or, if not, '/usr/bin/oowriter <filename>' will do the job. It will start with simply 'oowriter'. And what do you mean by closing through console? 'Ctrl-q' is the keyboard way to close it. The name of all the OOo binaries are: /usr/bin/oobase /usr/bin/oocalc /usr/bin/oodraw /usr/bin/ooffice /usr/bin/oofromtemplate /usr/bin/ooimpress /usr/bin/oomath /usr/bin/ooweb /usr/bin/oowriter --- das --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED] For additional commands, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED]
