I am trying to publish a book using OOo writer and am having dificulties. I
hope somone can advise me.
I downloaded a copy of "Creating and Using Master Documents and followed the
instructions to the letter until I got to page 7 para 5 where I am suppose to
add the first subdocument which is the Preface.
I made a two page Preface subdocument and incerted it as instructed. However,
the Master Doc incerted a blank Right Front style page.
It then added the Preface file on the left calling it Left Front, instead of
on the right page where it is supposed to be.
The second page of the Preface, although it stated it was a Front Right
style, was on a page 8.5 x 11 allthough all the other styles are on 6 x 9
pages.
Have I decsribed it clear enough? Do you have any idea what I did wrong? Any
help would be greatly appreciated.
If there was some way to hide the headers in the front pages and the first
page of each chapter, I wouldn't even have to fool with a master document.
