Joyce, I don't know what happened to your gallery, but you can find
additional galleries here:

http://documentation.openoffice.org/
 http://documentation.openoffice.org/Samples_Templates/index.html
<http://documentation.openoffice.org/Samples_Templates/User/gallery/index.html>
and here:
<http://sourceforge.net/project/showfiles.php?group_id=170021>
[scroll down to:
OOOP-2.2.0-1-gallery-nonfree.oxt and
OOOP-2.2.0-1-gallery.oxt
and follow the instructions to install here:
http://documentation.openoffice.org/Samples_Templates/User/gallery/win.html

Note: OOOP-2.2.0-1-gallery-nonfree.oxt and
OOOP-2.2.0-1-gallery.oxt are part of the excellent OOo OxygenOffice
project from Hungary run by KAMI. If you ever get ambitious and want to
try a well modified version of OOo you can give OxygenOffice a try. I've
run several versions of it and have always found it to just work "out of
the box" so to speak.

As for sounds, if you search on your computer for .wav and other sound
files, note the directories that they are in and you can use those from
OOo.
