In MSWord I can select a text and declare the language it is written in.
The spellchecker is recognizing my declaration. How to perform this in
OOWriter?

The story:

In a document that was maintained with MSWord, yet,
It seems that a wild intermix of English(UK), English(USA)
German(Ger..), German(Lux..),was assigned to different paragraphs, even
single words.

Now I'm editing this document with Writer and wonder how I can select
English(UK) as the spellchecking language for all the text.

Here is some config information:

"Tools/Options/Language Settings/Languange/Language of Local setting" is
set to "English(UK)"
"Tools/Options/Language Settings/Languange/Default languages for
documents Western" is set to "English(UK)"
"Tools/Options/Language Settings/Writing Aids/OpenOffice.org HuntSpell
SpellChecker is selected.
"Edit ..." is set to "English(UK)"
"Options" shows a checkmark at "Check spelling as you type"

However, if I right-click a misspelled word I always get German corrections.
