I like to substitute in the whole document the string "product xyz" by "product xyz" where the blank in substitution should be a non-breaking-space? How?
You have probably discovered - as I just have - that if you enter Ctrl+Space into the "Replace with" box of the Find & Replace dialogue box, you get an ordinary space, not a non-breaking one. So that's the problem. But by experimentation, I find that if I enter a non-breaking space somewhere in the document itself and then copy-and-paste it into the "Replace with" box, everything works as you would expect. If you do this, you can do a simple find and replace to achieve what you need.
