Just a few gaps in your logic...

I thought open office was afree softwrae
why is it accessing the Internet when
you open it up .

The fact that it is open source and can be downloaded free of charge, does
not mean that OOo will remain unconnected from the internet... The two
aren't even related.

so ther is spy software built into this softwrae package well I have
uninstall this from my computer open office

Thats a strong claim that you haven't supported. There is no spyware in OOo
- I would imagine your anti-spyware would have triggered if there was. How
did you get to this conclusion in the first place. How do you know it wasn't
checking to make sure there are no later versions?

I'm not 100% sure the exact reason for OOo connecting to the internet at
installation but I can assure you there is no spyware.

if I want soem one to spy on me what I am writing . I will use Microsoft
office
at least i will know who I am dealing with

Again, large unsubstantiated claims formed from nothing but paranoia. No one
is spying on you (from OOo that is). Feel free to use MS Office... You can
always try OOo again once you've thought about these ridiculous claims...
