Also, it seems that you can't (????) save an OO drawing
in any commonly accepted format like jpg, tiff, bmp etc.
Please someone tell me I'm wrong ...
You're wrong :-) File > Export, and you can select from several
standard graphics formats including JPG, PNG etc.
