i am using a version 1.1.3, of open office org. my problem is:
in the html document under tools is data sources. i need to link to web
site data which is in the html format as a large number of my documents are.
none of the types of documents that are listed as being able to link to are a
type html document.
none of the document types that you suggest e.g. odbc jdbc mysql adabas
dbase etc work in my windows xp home system. i find this particularly strange
as the document i am linking from i.e. destination document is a html document
itself.
i attempted to download the manual for my version but as i have very slow
dial up and i was not certain if the download was working or how large it was i
gave it up.
please advise how to link to website data in a html document which is in the
form of a table. htm or html types are not listed in your data sources. also
please advise the size of the download of the manual if this indeed does cover
the topic.
i would prefer a clear explanation of how to link to html documents on the
website. i am talking about merging information into your html document, not
embedding as this is of no use to me.
i look forward to your help. thanks.
i have found your html document very useful for editing html documents. i
really need the same thing to edit adobe acrobat documents.
