Thanks for the help, Russell. It finally made sense to me when I
clicked next after the Dictionary part and saw the Hyphenation series
and finally the thesaurus. All downloaded and now I just have to figure
out to install it.

Hi Bill
Just continue on after the dictionary install or just click "Next" if
you don't actually want the spelling dictionary and you get
"Hyphenation Dictionaries" and then "Thesaurus Dictionaries."

That's odd Bill
In my OOo 2.2.1 on gentoo using File-Wizards-Install new dictionaries I
open DicOOo - now at 1.7, choose English then at the Retrieve the list
page I can just click the "Next" button go to hyphenation and then
thesaurus.
As attachments are stripped off, I'll send you a screenshot off list
