I have downloaded to windows xp, the openoffice icon is installed on desktop. But when i click on the icon, i get the prompt to unpack files and install, and keep getting the same message over and over and it appears that the installation is not completed, even though the monitor displays the message installation complete. I can use the program, but only if i enter it through the files in my programs. what can i do, short of deleting and downloading again--it took me 6 hours because i have dial-up connection with aol. any advice?
