Hi...

  I have tried more than once to get openoffice on my computer. First of
all, when I click on the download, the window instantly pops up that
downloading is complete. Is this normal? The OOo icon is on my desktop,
making me think all is well. Then, when I open it up,  there is a message
telling me not to trust the "unsigned" publisher. Then,  I have a box
telling me that the file is incomplete or corrupt. It won't run even if I
tell it to anyway. Can you help me?...Melanie


I would suggest that unless you have tapped into the internet backbone, the
~90MB file has not downloaded 'instantly' ...

What would likely resolve the situation is to choose another mirror to
download from. Down the bottom of the page below there is a link to
'manually select another mirror'. If you follow the instructions let us know
if the problem still occurs:
