There are several different ways of inputting accented and other "difficult" characters, some easier than others to use, and all with their respective advantages and disadvantages.
There's a handout explaining the issues included in the Zip file with my freeware utility "UK Enhanced" keyboard, which was created for precisely this purpose. It's available from http://www.personal.leeds.ac.uk/~ecl6tam . The handout is quite large, and bloats the Zip, I'm afraid, but it's there for the students at my university. Lots of them use it, and the feedback is that it's fairly easy to use. The keyboard mapping only works on Windows, I'm afraid, but at least the price is right ... :-) Alec McAllister --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED] For additional commands, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED]
