Not with OpenOffice ( maybe it's possible, but not that I know of ).
But you can export to a postscript file ( File ==> Print ... and select
'print to file' option ), and then load up the output in an image editor
( for example, Gimp ), and do your manipulation on it from there.

There is a work-around to do this.
Copy and paste all your text into a frame in a Draw document and select it
Then Modify-convert- to bitmap
Then Modify-Flip horizontal
Not very tidy, but it does work
