Evolution does not run on Windows yet even though it has been ported 
be a couple different groups for the Windows platform. It won't run 
most of the time and it won't attract any Windows users because it 
is such a pain to set up and install in its current form for the 
Windows platform.

I use Kontact/KMail myself.
