Each version of Windows Vista has its own limitation. * Windows Vista Starter Edition, for example, won't allow the user to install dictionaries or fonts from the Internet. * Windows Vista Business Edition, won't allow the user to create documents that contain more than two writing systems. For people considering switching to Windows Vista, my suggestion is: * If on Win ME, or lower, upgrade to Ubuntu 7.04; * If on WinXP, or Win2K either stay there, or upgrade to Linux; * If on Server 2003, either stay on that, or upgrade to Red Hat's Enterprise version; * If on a Mac, stay there. (I'd rather keep my Mac, than get a Vista box, even though I can't use my Mac (System 7.5) due to hardware incompatibility issues); * If you want to get Linux, but feel obligated to pay the Microsoft tax, your choice is either SuSe, or Linspire; * Or look at the niche distros, if you have a quasi-specialized need; xan jonathon -- OOo can not correct for incompetence in creating documents from MSO. Furthermore,OOo can not compensate for the defective and flawed security measures used by Microsoft. As such, before using this product for exams that require faulty and defective software, ensure that you will not be unjustly penalized for the incompetence of the organization that requires the use of software that is known to be flawed, defective, bug-ridden, and fails to meet ISO file format standards. --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED] For additional commands, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED]
