My PC used WindowXP SP2 and OOo version 2.2, Pentium IV 3Ghz, 512MB RAM.
I tried to increase live memory up to 1GB RAM but not effect.

A suggestion might be to increase the live memory attributed to OpenOffice.org.
Normally OOo is very well capable of handling huge files.
Other people on this list may be able to help you further if you give
some more info: Which machine, which OS (Windows XP, Linux Ubuntu, Mac
Tiger...), version of OOo, some more info on the memory situation of
your machine and configuration...
