Hello
I am using OOo to open MS Word files. These word files cointain field
functions (like lastModified, savedBy, number of pages...). By default
Word does not update these fields when opening the document. OOo updates
these fields automatically. Now I want to disable this features, because
I only use OOo for opening the MS Word document and then converting it
to a PDF format. But the resulting PDF contains the updated fields from
the MS Word document, which I do not want, because I am not allowed to
change anything in the Word file. My task is just to open and convert,
without updating.
So is there any setting in OOo that disables the automatic updating of
the fields. I have searchen for two days now and did not find anything.
