Lydia, I'm afraid that you'll need to be more specific regarding EML-Database files so that we can try to help you. There are simply too many definitions to guess, see: http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&q=EML+%2Bdatabase+&btnG=Search http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/EML http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Extensible_ML If you are referring to .eml (email) files, and I don't think that you are, then OOo will open those files just fine. .eml are nothing more than plain text files.
