Actually, to me this is one of the most annoying aspects of 'help' in a lot of programs. But speaking of OOo, people come tho Open Office from all kinds of backgrounds where the vocabulary/jargon is different. If listing all the possible words and meanings for an item would make the 'help' search too long, then add a glossary button that would do a secondary search.
