Hi,
I don't really know what a package manager is but 30 seconds on
Google led me here: <http://www.debian.org/distrib/packages> where it
appears you can download packages.
Hope this helps

Hi. I'm using Debian Linux, KDE release 3.5.5. I want to install
the open office org package from the debian package manager.
Unfortunately, I do not have my internet access up on this
machine. I got a list of dependencies unmet, which are:
openoffice.org-common
ttf-opensymbol
libcurl3
libgstreamer-plugins-base0.10-0
libicu36
libneon25
libnspr4-0d
libnss3-0d
libportaudio0
libsndfile1
libstartup-notification0
libstlport4.6c2
i was hoping that some of these might be able to be downloaded off
the internet in package or tarball form, from my windows pc.
otherwise, I'll have to find a high-speed ISP in my area that
supports Linux.
thanks,
