Yes (but product release of OOo 2.3 is planned for September 4th, 2007).

That's a matter of opinion ...
Others had spent a good few time on creating the 'upload' for your download ...
... if you want  to compare your few minutes with these few months ... ;-)

Also, it is at your choice to update or to leave things as they are.
