Good Morning, I have searched the FAQs to find an answer in regards to uninstalling Open Office that suites my situation, but I've come up empty handed. The result of the searches indicate that I may have QuickStarter open and that may prevent me from uninstalling, but my Quickstarter isn't in the systems tray. I also found that it was recommended to use the usual method and to go to the Add/Remove programs option and uninstall as you would any program. Open Office doesn't apprear in the Add/Remove generated by that option. Lastly I found a recomendation to reinstall Open Office and utilize the uninstall option that comes up in the instalation process. To date, I have had no success uninstalling this program, can you be of assistance please? Over the years that OO has been on my PC it has rarely been used and I'm in the process of cleaning up un-used programs,other than that I've found no problems with the Office program.
i assuming you're using windows. maybe openoffice installed by other user account, try to login with other user account and see add/remove program list.
