Please pass on my thanks to Stefan as well. My concern about the greyed-out CTL checkbox is now relieved; part of my problem was that the meaning of being greyed-out was mysterious. It would not be amiss, by the way, to insert a remark into the CTL paragraphs of the Help system, mentioning WHY the box is greyed. Beyond that, it is becoming clear to me that I expected more of CTL than it is designed to deliver. Specifically, I was looking for a way (WITHIN OOo) to toggle between "Western" and CTL texts. I now understand that the ONLY way to switch between the two is the method of the OS itself -- in the case of openSuSE, that is the language applet in the panel on which one clicks to expose the national flag of successive languages. I would be grateful if you or Stefan could confirm this new understanding for me. Now that I understand it, it makes perfect sense, and I now understand that my 'great problem" has been a Fata Morgana from the beginning -- OOo is doing exactly what it is intended to do. Than you again, and thanks also to others here who offered comment... -- Stan Goodman Qiryat Tiv'on Israel --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED] For additional commands, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED]
