usually when using Linux I enjoy the Unix-style of copy and past: Just
mark
some text and press the middle button somewhere else - the text is
copied.
It works for me using PCLinuxOS 2007.
Which distro are you using? Have you confirmed that the feature is
currently working in other applications?
