Actually, opposing in any possible way the standardization
of OXML, or its actual usage if it ever gets past that
stage, is the only way to guarantee that OOo and similar
free applications remain relevant and usable. By "usable"
I don't refer to technical capabilities, but to OOo and FOSS
in general being usable by citizens for work or study
purposes. Which wouldn't happen in the long run if OXML were
tolerated.
So your message and feelings, which I share, are VERY on
topic, I'd say. And it is essential to raise awareness of
this very serious problem among the general public, as you
have done
