I have a new computer with Vista OS. I have found myself very dissappointed with the "trial" version of Office 2007, which is why I began downloading Open Office. Does anyone have experience with Open Office on Vista? Are there any changes or adjusments I need to make prior to downloading? Will it freeze my computer until I find someone with more experience with this OS to delete the installation? I haven't had much luck finding what I need from HP or Microsoft and I don't intend to shoot myself (figuratively) by downloading an incompatible program before I know enough to make this machine mine.
