Use F1 to open Help. Then click the Index tab. Enter Navigator in the 
Search term box. Finally, Look down the list for the word Navigator. 
Double click it to get the information that you want in the right side of 
the screen. 
    A detailed explanation of what the Navigator is and how you can use it 
is found in the Writer Guide available at 
http://documentation.openoffice.org/manuals/oooauthors2/. You might want 
to bookmark this page considering the wealth of information available on 
it.
