point:
I'm a top poster. It's because I hate reading and re-reading and re-re-reading
the same old stuff. I know what has already been said; I want to know what's new.
Consider a conversation where everyone repeats what has been previously said,
then adds their bit. Same effect.
If the reader doesn't know the current context, they can start at the bottom and
read up. For most people, reading [listening to] the current comment is sufficient.

I just installed the Postgresql sdbc 7.5 driver in OOo 2.2.1 on
Slackware Linux. I now have blank icons on that setup as well. It
appears that this problem appears when that driver is installed.
