    Thanks. I have used that as well, but the problem seems to be in docbook 
itself. I concluded this because, ooo2dbk, uses sxw format as input and when i 
saved my odt as sxw, i found that in the sxw, my bulleted lists were saved as 
orderedlists instead of itemized lists.
