If I start typing in a cell, and the substring matches that from a cell above, OO auto-completes the text, showing the untyped portion as highlighted. This is good. But if I try to hit the Tab key to move over to the next cell (and keep the auto-completed text), all I get is a beep. It won't let me. It's very annoying. I have to hit Enter, but I don't want to do that because that moves me to the cell below. I want to move to the cell to the right. Is there a way to change/fix this behavior?

Yes: just use an arrow key instead of Tab in this circumstance. You will want right-arrow, but any arrow key will move the focus appropriately whilst preserving what AutoInput has offered. In fact, you could get used generally to using right-arrow instead of Tab to complete the input to a cell and move right, whether or not AutoInput is involved.

I trust this helps.
