Yes, Lar, until now an OpenOffice.org update means you have to download and install the whole package again. On a Mac, you can have several versions of OOo standing alongside one another. So you don't need to delete the previous version. You might wait for the 2.3 update that includes more important changes than the smaller updates like 2.2.1.
