Hi Asiegbu,
StarOffice and MS Office can be used independently.
When you install StarOffice you should think about opening MS Office
document formats. If you want to evaluate StarOffice or want to open MS
Office documents formats permanetly with MS Office you should beware
that you should not assigne these documents to StarOffice. The selection
is offered at installation time!
