In Writer, I did'nt succed in exporting a drawing that I made with the
draw tools.
I select my drawing, File menu > Export > and I have olny 4 choices :
- pdf
- xhtml...
but no bitmap.
and the checkbox "selection" is greyed...

Did you try scrolling down through the list? On my computer, directly
below xhtml there is Windows Bitmap.
There are in fact about a dozen options in that menu. Press the up and
down arrows on your keyboard or click on the scroll bar at the right side
of the boz with the options.
