drwxrwxr-x 5 root bin 512 May 29 19:41 openofficeorg-core10/

for example ... I tried to: pkgadd -d openofficeorg-calc but it's not a
package.

Inside of each one of the file of the list I have a carpet install, but
inside that carpet I just have:

-rw-rw-r-- 1 root bin 93 Jan 19 2007 copyright
-rw-rw-r-- 1 root bin 230 May 29 19:13 depend
-rw-rw-r-- 1 root bin 2331 May 29 19:13 i.none

so I don’t see anything to install the openoffice.

I really need help with this.

Luis C.

IIRC, the file you have gunzipped and tar -xvf'd is a package. As root,

cd [whatever directory you unpacked the file in`
pkgadd -d `pwd` filename
