It doesn't show up when I pasted into this email, but here are 2 examples:

in this example, the "I" is fine but the apostrophe and the rest is smaller

Hmmmm. What version of OO are you using? And which version of which
Operating System?
On my Win XP Pro system with OO 2.2.1 this does *not* happen. The text
displays and prints correctly.
