Your problem is that you do not have the correct language set for you
document. Format > Character > Font (tab). Make sure the language of your
document is listed in the Language box. Also make sure it has a tick and
"abc" in front of it. If it does not, you need to download the appropriate
dictionary using File > Wizards > Install new dictionaries.
