I am writing my thesis and I'm using Windows XP ops and OpenOffice
2.2.1.
Unfortunately this is the second time that
I get a pop up window entitled "ASCII Filter Options" and the only thing
intelligent that I can do is press OK. I do not know why I get this
window!
What format are you saving your document in?
If you are saving in something other than OpenOffice's native format, I
advise against this - it can lead to problems. I recommend that you save
in the native format, and if you ever need to send the document to someone
in a different format (e.g. Word or PDF), make a special copy for them at
the time using File / Save As, or File / Send Email.
