No, I didn't mean that; I meant open one of the files that has a
non-standard icon and then immediately save it without making any changes;
possibly use Save As to save it under a different name - it's just an
experiment to see if the icon changes to the standard one on the re-saved
file.

OK. The non-standard icon is the one that looks like a document with the
Calc icon in lower corner, right? The standard icon is the stylized Calc
icon. Just checking...I'm brand new to OO. I'll ty when I get back home to
my laptop.
