To Whom It May Concern,
I purchased the Open Office Word program through google on Wednesday. (Order
No. 861550451600527). It is supposed to be word compatible. Yet documents I am
sending out are in ODT format and people can not access them. Is there a better
way I can send them out as a word compatible document?
Thanks,

PS I would really appreciate an expeditious response.

Hi David,
Point 1] Go to the drop down menus at the top of the page, select
Tools>Options and a large multifaceted box will appear
now click on Load/Save > General and set up the default
document file types.
Point 2] In Load/Save now click on Microsoft Office, and set up the
defaults as you want them, I would suggest tick all the boxes.
One assumes that when you purchased Open Office, that you only paid the
cost of tranferring it to a blank disc. If you paid much more than this
you have been had.
Open Office is a free download.
Hope this helps,
