[users] phonenumber autoformat

I am making a spreadsheet for a list of previous addresses, I used 
spreadsheet cause I needed to show the length of time at the address 
given move in and move out dates. When I enter a phone number as 
8005555555 I want it to automatically format it as (800)555-5555. I know 
that microsoft office can do this, please someone tell me how to do it 
in openoffice :)
