Hello Mike, Take a look at the Mac porting pages of OpenOffice.org: http://porting.openoffice.org/mac OpenOffice.org doesn't yet run natively on Mac. You need to install X11. Read the How To files on these pages. There are different versions of X11 for a Tiger (Mac OS X 10.4.x) and Panther (10.3.x) There are different versions of OOo for Mac PPCs and Mac Intels http://porting.openoffice.org/mac/download/x11.html A native Aqua version of OpenOffice.org is being developed and a stable version will be available in the next few months. You can already try out a version of Aqua (but don't use it yet for important work, and save regularly -as you always should): http://porting.openoffice.org/mac/download/aqua.html Good luck -- Guy using dutch OOo 2.3 m221 on a iMac Intel DualCore Tiger and brazilian OOo 2.3 RC 3 on a G4 PPC Powerbook Tiger -- please reply only to [email protected] -- Dodoes can't afford to have headaches --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED] For additional commands, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED]
