My problem with OpenOffice 2.0 seems very trivial. But I
have clicked all the options that seem relevant, tried
reloading several times, and even poked into the source
files.
Perhaps in your next release you can do something better
for users, because this problem has been rather inconvent.
Here is what happened:
- I am from a text document, envelopes with database
fields
- When I hit the print button on the toolbar, a window
pops up telling me there are database fields in my
document
- From there, I go right to the convenient database
inteface and my envelopes are nicely done in .pdf
- Unfortunately, after several months of working this way,
I clicked the "Do not warn me again" in that print pop up
window.
- Now it does not ask me to process the database fields
when I hit the print button, but sends only the first page
to the printer, which in this case is Adobe Acrobat.
- I do not know how to reset this. Now it seems I am
forced to use the Mail Merge wizard which I find very
complicated and unwieldy for such a small job.
What shall I do?
