There's nothing wrong with the files. OOo 2.2 (and now 2.0.4 as I've had to go back to that on the original OpenSUSE 10.2 DVD) open them OK. The implementation of 2.3 seems weird. After installing OOo 2.3, clicking on the files did not start OOo as the file associations had been lost. The separate menu icons for Calc, Writer, etc., were missing. Presumably these two problems are related. -- Graham P Davis Bracknell, Berks., UK Send e-mails to "newsman" as mails to "newsboy" are ignored. --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED] For additional commands, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED]
