Well, it seems the opensuse repo config is missing some dependencies.
After installing

OpenOffice_org-base
OpenOffice_org-calc
OpenOffice_org-draw
OpenOffice_org-filters
OpenOffice_org-impress
OpenOffice_org-math
OpenOffice_org-nld
OpenOffice_org-pyuno
OpenOffice_org-writer

(probably not all packages needed) it seems to work.
