I may be wrong - it has happened ;-) but I don't think that's possible.
Firstly, all OpenOffice modules, especially the Quickstarter, need to be
shut down prior to installing a new version.
Also, there are no "updates on the fly". Each new version of OpenOffice is
exactly that, a complete new version. Trying to support incremental updates
on all the different platforms would lead to more bugs than it would fix.
True, and I understand that. However, if you go under the HELP menu in
the actual program, there is an update button. I was wondering if that
particular button can go on the Quickstart menu.
