OpenOffice.org can open and write MS Office documents prior to Office
2007, ie it cannot open .docx type files. The OOXML filters are coming,
but not here yet. You would need to make sure that anyone sending an
attachment uses the older MS Office formats(up to Office 2003 I believe).
